The Boston Marathon Bomb Story

The nervousness that arose from two bombs, three deaths, and three days without answers ratcheted up in the tight rows of chairs across the Commonwealth Ballroom.

Investigators had just postponed their news conference again. The wait came to an end at 5:10 pm on Thursday when two federal agents brought two display boards to the front of the room. They turned the boards backward so as not to reveal the findings of their sleuthing until, it had been decided, they couldn’t wait any longer.

The world would finally be able to see potential suspects of the bombings.

“Somebody out there knows these individuals as friends, neighbors, co-workers or family members of the suspects,” stated Richard DesLauriers, the FBI agent in charge in Boston. The display boards contained surveillance camera images of two men, one wearing a black ball cap and sunglasses and the other wearing a white ball cap backwards.Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
